Audience

My genre will be indie/rock inspired by already established magazines such as; Kerrang and Q these sorts of magazine are cluttered and busy conveying the overall theme of the music. These magazines usually have medium/close-up images of a band or singer and these images are usually fierce and dominating they also show the power these artists have on society just from their image and what their image entails. The colour scheme within this genre of magazine is predominantly Red-danger (the expression of the music and the danger that it involves),passion (The love for the music the rawness of the lyrics)black-darkness (expressing the grunge like apparel of the band due to the fashion chosen by both the audience and the performer, white purity (this music is as it is they express feelings and emotion straight to the point, emptiness (this gives the audience the impression that the music is there for their own interpretation. The language is very informal giving the audience the impression that its down with the streets and the kids. My music magazine will appeal to group B,C1,C2,D and E in the income and occupation scale ages 16-30, This makes its widely accessible to the community and demonstrates limited segregation. This style of magazine is unlikely to have a secondary audience and therefore the magazine will not have noticeable differences of which you would see on a school magazine such as; consent forms and parents evenings also ways in which the parent can help their child at home. My magazine will focus on all topics which will cover all audiences
